Belly Dance Music Bography
Mellilah, award winning Egyptian style belly
dancer, is a passionate performer, instructor, and
life-long learner of this amazing Middle Eastern art
form. Through her love of the dance, the music,
and the culture, she is committed to keeping the
art form alive and authentic throughout Seattle
and beyond, respecting and learning from its
history.
The Performer: Mellilah performs professionally as a
soloist for restaurants, corporate events and
private parties throughout the Puget Sound area,
specializing in Egyptian style, cane, sword, veil, zills,
fans and belly grams, a classic telegram with a
twist! Additionally, she is the owner of New Moon

been featured in many of Seattle's restaurants and
large-scale stage productions. Mellilah won 1st
Runner Up in the Emerald Rain Professional Belly
Dancer Competition. Mellilah has also been a
company dancer of the Blue Lotus Dance
Company. Additionally, she has served as vice
president, board member, and company dancer
of Middle East Arts International (MEAI), a non
profit organization that supports and promotes
excellence in Middle East inspired music and
dance.
